A Note to Non-Custodial Parents
There are many of you out there who believe child support help/collection websites are "anti-man." Some are.
Most are not. This one is not. I am pro-child, pro Mom and pro Dad. I firmly believe that every child has the
right to be provided for, and that every parent (custodial and non-custodial, male and female) has an obligation
to support the children that they have helped bring into this world. You may be dealing with situation that
you perceive as unfair. If so, it is your responsibility to deal with that situation, as the law requires.
Modify your order. Petition the court to enforce visitation. Go to your judge. Write your congressman. Get
your voice heard. If something about your situation really is unfair, it isn't as hard as you think to get
it taken care of. Remember that disagreeing with the amount of your obligation does not make you a deadbeat.
Not paying support to your children makes you a deadbeat. Hiding from your responsibility makes you a
deadbeat. Lying to avoid taking care of your children makes you a deadbeat. So don't just stop payment.
If you are a parent, your children deserve your support, regardless of how you feel about your ex. It's that simple.
